Just Build It has created a novel building materials search and information system based on an interactive building model, where products and solutions can be conveniently found by location.
We describe the project in terms of the keywords that run through it: accuracy, construction engineering and realism. One of the most challenging nuances of this project was the development of ways of realising cut-throughs so that the end goal would be practical, easy to understand, and at the same time aesthetically pleasing and realistic. The special feature of this project was certainly the attention to detail. The whole building had to be thoroughly modeled. While it is usually enough to have a general impression of the whole, we didn’t get away with it that easily on this project – even the walls had to be built-in.
We consider it our own achievement to acquire new knowledge and to consolidate the knowledge we already had, especially in the field of general construction. We were able to go through a lot of construction processes, where we had to use the appropriate building materials and fasteners. We are proud and happy to have been part of such an exciting project and we thank Just Built It OÜ for the very professional, fast and smooth exchange of information.
